Ms. Jonai – Preschool Teacher

Hi, I’m Ms. Jonai I’ve been working in early childhood education for over 9 years and have spent the last 5+ years at Becca’s Place. I started as an infant teacher and worked my way through mobiles, wobblers, and toddlers before landing in preschool—where I’ve truly found my happy place.

I’m a proud momma bear with a strong background in childcare education. I take pride in nurturing young minds and creating a safe, welcoming space for every child. My journey into childcare started when I became a new parent myself and enrolled my daughter in care at just 6 months old. She’s now in the pre-teen stage and continues to inspire me every day.

I’m big on promoting curiosity, social development, and foundational skills. Building strong relationships with not only the children but also their families is very important to me. I want everyone who walks into my classroom to feel supported and welcomed with open arms.

I was born and raised in the beautiful City of Roses and love everything it has to offer. I’m a city girl at heart with a big heart! I enjoy the outdoors, music, art, sports, and of course, good food. My family means the world to me, especially my daughter. Oh—and I collect plants and sneakers too!

Teacher Hannah – Preschool Teacher

I’ve been in early childhood education for over 3 years now, and it has become a huge passion of mine. I enjoy creating bonds with my students and providing them with a safe, welcoming environment.

I love incorporating music and art into my lessons and strive to create a fun and educational classroom.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, going on hikes through nature, and traveling to new places.

Hi My name is Emilene, I’m a certified Early Childhood Educator. I teach the Wobbler class at Becca’s Place. I am a mother of four children, the youngest two, Andrea and Lucas attend the center. I have worked at Becca’s Place since 2022. Prior to this I worked in customer service, when I decided to step away from that to work with children, I found it to be the best choice I’ve made. I find inspiration every day through working with our Wobblers and knowing that I a part of their first school experience. I feel that it is a gift to me to help them explore the world around them. I find myself to care a lot for children and I love that I am able to shape their little hearts and minds. I strive to make parents and children feel free and welcome to our classroom and gain their trust. One of my favorite things is decorating our classroom for the holidays (my favorite are Halloween, Day of the Dead, and Christmas) I am very family oriented so I love spending my free time with my husband and children enjoying the outdoors on sunny days. I love traveling and trying new adventures. I enjoy museums, exhibitions, walks in nature, reading, movies, and COFFEE! I hope to have a special place in your children’s heart. 

Hello! My name is Mr. Quinn. I have worked for Becca’s Place off and on for a few years. Right now, I work mostly giving teachers breaks and or filling in for them on their days off. This also allows me to get to know a lot of the children in all the classrooms. Before that I used to be enrolled as a child here! Being able to bring the perspective of having grown up in this very daycare helps me deepen connections with the kids and see things through their eyes. Outside of work I enjoy playing video games, reading, exercising and a multitude of other things. Please fee free to come say hello or ask me questions!

 My name is Dejanae but I got by Deja. I was born in Portland Oregon and I’m 22 yrs old. I like to explore new places, especially with nature, spend time with my family and friends and learn about new things whenever I get the chance to. I’m the oldest out of my 7 siblings so I must show them a positive role model towards them at all times. My passion for early childhood education started at a young age, I started babysitting young children at the age of 14 and then started working with young infants at the age of 17 which advanced my skills and love for working with kids even more. I’m so excited to join this team and to be a new teacher for infant mobiles this year! 

Mr. Dalton

As the cook at Becca’s Place, I take pride in creating delicious meals that keep our little ones’ bellies full and their hearts happy. There’s nothing better than knowing I’ve played a part in their smiles and energy throughout the day. When I’m not in the kitchen whipping up something tasty, you’ll probably find me deep into a video game adventure or enjoying a good movie—two of my favorite ways to relax and recharge. I love being part of a team that nourishes both body and spirit!

 Hello!  My name is Ms. Promise and i have two years of experience in early childhood education, I’ve had the joy of working with children ranging from 6 weeks to 12 years old. I’m passionate about creating a nurturing, engaging environment where kids feel safe, supported, and excited to learn. I love building strong connections with the children and their families—many parents have shared how much their little ones enjoy spending time with me, and that truly means so much. Watching each child grow, develop new skills, and reach milestones is the most rewarding part of what I do. I’m also CPR certified, ensuring that your child’s safety is always a top priority in my care.
